I was standing in the middle of our old wooden corridor as my grandfather criticized me for another prank I pulled.
I didn't want to be there yet I suddenly wanted to remember this day forever, I squeezed my eyes as hard as I could.
Until this very day I can still remember that same moment as if it happened yesterday.
We moved to Israel on the second of April, 1990.
At the age of 15 I started studying artistic photography in Tzfat. Uri Elkabetz, who was running the course later became my mentor and provided me with the guidance and support I craved for so long. Only in those magical days I found how deep runs my passion for photography, I was infatuated with subject and spent most of my time learning new concepts and honing my photography skills.
I got accepted to Hadassa College in Jerusalem and concentrated my studies mainly on digital photography and editing, only at that point of my life I was introduced to the powerful world of Photoshop, and now I can proudly say I have mastered its realm. My hard work and talent did not go unnoticed as I received various prestigious awards for my work such as Weitzman Center scholarship and Sharet Fund fellowship award.
Since finishing my studies in 2004 I dwelled in photographing fashion and high fashion, weddings, catalogs and commercial photography. Besides being behind the camera I spent a lot of time in front of the computer screen dealing with design and graphics.
Some of my major work was presented in group and solo exhibitions including the prestigious “White Nights” and “Jerusalem – Tsfat”.
Photography for me is a way of life, a way of innovating. Every project I work on is a new challenge. I do not accept anything less than perfection.
